How To Sync Omni Focus with WebDAV for Free
OK, here's the play-by-play to get Omni-Focus to synch automatically between your computer and your phone. Takes ~10 to 15 minutes, plus the time you'll spend waiting for confirmation emails from a service called "swissdisk."1. Go to: http://swissdisk.com
2. Sign up for a free account, which is a little hidden. First go to "Signup" in the top menu bar. Then scroll down and click the "free 50 megs" option: 3. You will create a username and password. Write these down / remember them, whatever.4. Follow the steps to "activate" your account. They send you an email, you click the link, then they send you a second email, which means your account is active5. Go to OmniFocus and open the OmniFocus menu in the top left. Choose "preferences." You'll see a screen like this:
6. Put your url in the box like I did with mine in this screenshot above. Then click "Sync Now." It will ask for your username and password twice. Put it in both times and click "remember" when you do it.7. Once that syncs successfully (it will "un-gray"), then if you are on a Wi-Fi network with your phone you can "share settings." Probably easier just to click "send settings" though and do the e-mail thingie.- J

Quick question:
Does one need to delete the files stored on the swissdisk.com site? Are they needed after a sync is completed? My guess is they aren't needed, but I didn't know if a cleanup of the files needed to happen every once and a while, or if perhaps swissdisk gets rid of the oldest files when space has run out.
Cheers!

After my first sync, I went on to swissdisk.com and clicked on the folder Omnifocus.ofocus. It lists several files, all around 1.06 KB or so.
It also says I have 43.56 of 48.41 free, so I should be good for a while, but I'm just wondering what happens if this space is all used. Then again, one might have to make a nauseatingly large number of lists to run out of space.
Thanks for the quick follow up!
